Zum zweiten Mal ist Martin Bisi, Musiker und legendärer Produzent der New Yorker No Wave Szene, mit seiner Band zu Gast im Gängeviertel. In seinem BC Studio in Gowanus, Brooklyn, das er mit Brian Eno und Bill Laswell zusammen gegründet hat, entstanden einflussreiche Alben von Swans, Sonic Youth, John Zorn, Dresden Dolls, Cop Shoot Cop, White Hills, Pop1280, JG Thirlwell, Alice Donut, Live Skull, Foetus uvm..
Zum 35. Jubiläum erschien dieses Jahr seine neue Platte, BC35, an der viele Musiker dieser Bands mitgewirkt haben und welche er nun auf seiner Tour präsentiert.
Zusammen mit den befreundeten Hamburger Bands "The Beats" und "Haymen" wird es ein besonderer, abwechslungsreicher Abend mit gegenseitiger musikalischer Unterstützung. Martin Bisi´s Musik ist in den Bereichen Noise-Rock/Post-Punk, Industrial, Ambient angesiedelt. Es ist uns ein Vergnügen, die Presse zu zitieren:

THE BEATS
The Beats from Hamburg, Germany sound like the set of a five-armed DJ equipped with a fancy personality disorder. They are an analog technotronica live band consisting of Uli Himstedt and Patrick S. Muller on synthesizers and drum machines and Carl-John Hoffmann on guitars.
