Demain Damas or the noisy and passionate conversation between two old friends, on a daily-darknews and latent-war-climate background.

The two old friends are violonist Ruben Tenenbaum, who lived several years in Turkey and is deeply involved into traditionnal and classical musics from the Middle-East, and Colin Petit, who captures and manipulate in direct the sounds of his partner to respond him.

The result is an organic music, in constant motion, made of sharpnesses and feedback memories, where sounds melt and answer, tricking the ear’s perceptions.

Demain Damas shows a poetic of the instant, on the edge, together harsh and subtle, reflecting a word in constant crisis where everything seems to be on the edge.

Ruben Tenenbaum: violin

Colin Petit: tapes, analog devices
