Public space – is it really public?
We often think of “public space” as something open, shared, and accessible to everyone. But the ways we use and move through it show its limits, tensions, and contradictions. This project brings together artistic and sensorial perspectives to explore when and how a space is truly experienced as public. Through sound, image, performance, and spatial actions, it looks at control, participation, and the everyday gestures through which people take, adapt, and reinterpret space.
More than an exhibition, Public space – is it really public? opens a space for observation and dialogue, where the idea of the common is constantly reshaped through experience.
