ACTION! ATTENTION!
is a LOUD and GROOVY bass & drums duo from Israel,
that plays Disco-Metal & Funk-Punk
The duo consists of S.Zax On drums & vox, and O.Furr On bass and vox.
ACTION! ATTENTION! is a favorite headliner at the Tel Aviv & Jerusalem rave scenes, playing both underground parking lot DIY shows and the country's elite nightclubs.
They have shared the stage with world renowned acts such as King Khan & The BBQ Show and Noise / Experimental artist WRONG (John Vans). An ACTION! ATTENTION! live show is a LOUD Monster Truck Rally experience, a head and booty shaker, with lots of catchy hooks, a ton of BASS-JAMS, vibes and fun! Their unique sound and versatile approach is a local trademark - O.Furr's cutting bass lines will often shake the floor, while S.Zax's vocals act as lead guitar!
The duo was formed by the two after years of acting as the rhythm unit for local cult nonsense-groove act Kobayashi Porcelain. They decided that two people was enough to form a band, and started touring the country, releasing live bootlegs through local indie label Uganda.
!A!A! owes its style and tightness to the guys' experience:
S.Zax is a veteran of the Israeli Indie scene.Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with such International acts as Metal Doomers The Gathering and Punk Classics GBH. He has also drummed for Israel's legendary Psychedelic phenomenon Danni Ben Israel, and even progressive / experimental innovators Sympozion.
O.Furr has acted as a fierce bass player for many Punk & Indie outfits, like Junkyard Kids and Autorussia, and he is now performing with local acts Xerox Candy Bar & OX4, to name a few.
Nowadays, ACTION! ATTENTION! are the proud owners of the Thrash Hole, an underground Jerusalem venue that has hosted many international hardcore acts. They are also embarking on their second tour of Europe.
