Ich höre gerade einen Song von 3moonboys, den sie mit der Sängerin von Pchelki - einer anderen polnischen Band die letztens in Hamburg gespielt hat - gemacht haben. Am Morgen nach deren Konzert habe ich beim Geschirr Spülen gelauscht, wie die Pchelki Sängerin und ein weiteres Mitglied ein Lied am Klavier in meinem Wohnzimmer gespielt haben, ohne darauf zu achten, ob sie vielleicht ein Publikum in der Küche haben. Einfach so. Sie waren in einer eigenen Welt während des Liedes (ich dann auch, aber bestimmt in einer anderen), und gleichzeitig in meinem Wohnzimmer. Ich denke daran, wenn ich das Lied von 3moonboys höre:

Today as a quartet, originally, in 2004, 3moonboys started as a trio. The’ve recorded 7 studio albums, 2 EP’s and have played over 200 concerts at variety of events (Open'er, Off, Camerimage, SpaceFest festivals to name just a few) in many places in Poland, Germany,
Slovakia, Norway and Island. The band has taken part in various artistic initiatives, cooperating, among others, with art galleries (e.g. CSW Signs of time in Toruń) and has flirted with other creative disciplines,especially liberature. The search for a synergy between music and text, led 3moonboys to coproduce the international project Brumba - unity of word and a writing space.
About the new album Zawsze jest za krótko
Zawsze jest za krótko (Always it’s too short), a new studio album by 3moonboys will be released on February 8th, 2018. The record is a mix of noise, pop and electronics, achieved by departure from song forms in favor of exploration of motoric trance, always present in
band’s music. Exploration also applies to the live formula - new sounds, new instruments have become the starting point for improvisation. Live promotion of the new record will begin on the 8th of February. In the first part of the tour, 3moonboys will play 10 concerts in Poland and Germany.
